MPP and PG student leadership camp: Day 1 (30th November 2012)

On the 30th November, the start of a two day student leadership camp is initiated. Our first day started with us gathering at the school canteen at around 7a.m.

At around 8, we gather in the school's multipurpose hall for a little briefing on our upcoming activities and also a small ice breaking session.

After the ice breaking, there are three activities being carried out simultaneously. each activities takes up to 30 minutes. There are six groups altogether, two groups per activity.

Activities:
1) Designing logos
2) Diffusing bombs
3) Carrying baskets of balls with strings

Each activities focuses on our abilities in team working, critical thinking, creativity and etc.

After the activities, we got ready to prepare for our lunch. After lunch, the boys went off to the nearby mosque for their Friday prayers, while the ladies stayed on to perform the prayers in the school's surau.

After lunch, we have a mini emcee and presentation competition.

After that, we proceed to the foyer for the following activities:

1) All teammates carrying a container, blindfolded, except for one as leader leading the others around the obstacles as not to let the water spill.
2) Straws are placed at each teammates' mouth. Rubberbands are passed along through the straws. The last member will tie the rubber bands on a boy's hair as much as possible.
3) Picking up marbles with chopsticks, a relay race.

The night activity includes prayers, doa selamat, dinner preparations, talks, and some more games.
